LEE RUST
FOUNDER AND CEO
Lee Rust, founder and CEO of Freedom Forever Ministries, has been faithfully proclaiming God's Word to incarcerated women since 2000. Her passion to reach the lost and provide freedom in Christ through biblical instruction has offered hope to those whom many have forgotten.
Lee's personal testimony is one of tragedy, loss, and of God's grace leading her to begin ministering to hurting women. Her authentic, straight-forward style of teaching has inspired and encouraged women in prison cells as well as sanctuaries, Bible studies, and all types of women's events. Lee and her husband Eric have three children and reside in Paducah, Kentucky. Lee is a Kentucky Missionary and also an active member of the ACA (American Correctional Association), CMCA (Correctional Ministries and Chaplain Association) and the AJA (American Jail Association).
OUR STORY
In December 2000, under God's direction, Ms. Lee Rust began Freedom Forever Ministries as a Christian ministry for incarcerated women. Eighteen years later, Freedom Forever Ministries is reaching thousands of female inmates annually. The weekly session includes praise music, Bible study, and prayer. Ms. Lee Rust has developed a program that speaks to these female inmates in a way they can identify and understand.
Our statistics continue to provide valuable information concerning the inmates and their needs. These women are abused, educated mothers from lower middle class and middle class families who have a misguided picture of love. They have often expressed appreciation for what the ministry has given them during their incarceration and they continue to use after they leave the facilities.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our Statement of Faith summarizes biblical truth that historically and doctrinally has been regarded as essential to the Christian faith. We ask that all of our leaders, board members and volunteers be in full agreement with this statement.
THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Holy Bible, to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the World.
THE GODHEAD
We believe the Godhead exists in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in His eternal existence as God; His Incarnation and Virgin Birth; His death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin; His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead; His present ministry of intercession in heaven; and His personal, future return to earth.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers unto a holy life; that He keeps and empowers believers day by day; that He is the Teacher of the Word of God and the Guide for daily living.
SALVATION
We believe Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. Through Jesus Christ, we find redemption of sin and assurance of an eternal home in heaven. Salvation involves repentance, a change of mind in respect to God and thus turning from one's own sinful way to God's way. Salvation believes by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; it is by grace we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ not by works.
THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is a local, visible body of assembled baptized believers who gather for worship of the Lord Jesus, and scatters to be His witnesses.
EVANGELISM
We believe the ministry of evangelism (sharing and proclaiming the message of salvation only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and discipleship (helping followers of Christ grow up into maturity in Christ) is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.
MARRIAGE
We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and woman as unique biological persons made to complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female.
PRAYER
We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His authority over our lives, and to the ministry of evangelism.
HUMAN LIFE
We believe human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen.
THE FUTURE
We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth; in the bodily resurrection of the just to the eternal abode in the glory of God’s presence; and in the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.
